Après un certain temps de pause sur nos réseaux sociaux, nous revenons avec une annonce bien particulière !
En octobre 2010, Nantes Derby Girls devenait l’un des premiers clubs de roller derby de l’hexagone. Son nom, notre si cher NDG, a alors été choisi dans la lignée de nombreux clubs de l’époque, en s’appropriant le terme Girls sous sa signification punk et émancipatrice.
10 ans plus tard, si ces valeurs sont encore les nôtres, nous pensons que ce nom ne permet plus de représenter le club dans son entièreté. Girls est un terme binaire, et ne suffit plus à représenter les belles personnes qui composent notre club !
Nantes Derby Girls devient donc Nantes Roller Derby 
Nouveau nom et nouveau logo, une nouvelle ère commence pour le club et on espère que vous ferez partie de notre aventure !
Grâce au travail de Jean Le Boulanger Aka The Blastart, cette nouvelle identité s’accompagne d’un nouveau logo tout beau !

After some time off on our social networks, we are back with a very special announcement!
In October 2010, Nantes Derby Girls became one of the first roller derby league in France. Its name, our beloved NDG, was chosen in line with many leagues of the time, by appropriating the term Girls in its punk and empowering meaning.
10 years later, if these values are still ours, we think that this name no longer represents the league in its fullness. Girls is a binary term, and is no longer sufficient to represent all the beautiful people who make up our league!
Thus, Nantes Derby Girls becomes Nantes Roller Derby
With a new name and a new logo, a new era begins for the club and we hope you will be part of our adventure!
